2.26.07 - whirlwind

tadaima, bujini nihon ni modorimashita! seems like this past visit was a whirlwind. was able to see a lot of friends and relax for a little bit. work went smoothly, and i ate lotz. between all the traveling (tokyo-korea-tokyo-sf-la-sf-tokyo) i didn't get as much down time as i had hoped. i really enjoyed just sitting and chillin with buddies. i realize that when i'm with friends, i feel right at home. when i'm out and about by myself, i feel like a foreigner.

the problem with trying to cram everything into such a short period of time is that it's hard to just take it all in. i got my fix of all the foods i miss. bbq, pizza, burritos, burgers, jamba juice, cheese cake, pizzookie, banna creme pie, etc. what i wish i had was more down time to just sit and catch up with everyone. i really enjoyed the time i got to just chill and talk.

welp, i'm back at home now (tokyo) and getting back into my daily routine. it'll prolly take me a few days to get into the flow of things, but i really do feel like i'm back in my element here. game on . . .

2.09.07 - annyeonghi kyeseyo

my time here in seoul was both long and short. work was too long. time to enjoy and explore was too short. oh well, i am thankful i was able to spend a week in a new place. hopefully, next time i come back, it'll be on vacation.

well, i head back to tokyo today (2/9), then to the bay tomorrow (2/10), so holla at'cha boy! can't wait!
